The Bombay Tie

Inspired by the great maritime trading routes of Britain’s imperial era, The Bombay evokes a world in which silk, spice and sea connected London with the great ports of the Indian Ocean.

Crafted from heavyweight mulberry silk and screen-printed in deep saffron, with a repeating dolphin motif in ivory and black, the design draws upon the maritime heritage of the East India Company and the historic trading ports of Bombay and the Indian Ocean. Each tie is bias-cut for an elegant drape, finished by hand with silk bar tacks and reinforced with a pure wool interlining.
